Hi,
I'm new here and need some advice. I just purchased a Chinese Wisteria. It is small and I want it as a small tree. I have been reading about them and I'm wondering if I really want this. My original plan was to plant in a bed at the corner of the house near the down spout. I have a hosta and a few other perennials there and this is a new bed. After reading about this Chinese Wisteria I am re-thinking where I am going to plant this. I am now thinking about just planting out in the yard and not near the house. Is this a better idea?
Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

I would not plant it close to the house. I had one years ago and it will climb anything. I think as a small tree sounds beautiful. I inherited mine from the previous owner and it was running around everywhere.
