I rescued this plant. Does anyone know what it is? Some type of aloe maybe? Also, does anyone know if it's poisonous to cats?

It looks like Aloe Vera to me. I have 4 cats and also have Aloe plants but my cats don't bother them. Aloe Vera IS poisonous to cats. There are many plants that are poisonous to cats. I found this list you might like to see: [HYPERLINK@www.cfainc.org]

Thanks! I thought it looked like an aloe vera plant, but I didn't know aloe vera plants grew stalks like that. My cats will be fine with it, but I'm catsitting for a couple weeks and I know the owner of the cat will feel much more comfortable if I find a temporary home for poisonous plants while I'm catsitting. Her cat does have a history of chewing on plants. I know someone who will watch my plants for a few weeks, so I'll still keep all of them. Thanks for the ID.
