Houseplants: Davallia Fejeensis or (Rabbit''s Foot Fern)

flutterbye39 Lees Summit, MO August 21, 2008 1:43 PM	I know a lady who has one of these Fern's and I would really like one to. My questions is can i get a start off of her plant, and if so how do I do this. Thanks so much Flutterbye39
Nan SW, WI (Zone 4b) August 22, 2008 9:31 AM	You need to cut a section of the 'fuzzy-foot' (rhizome). If your friend's plant has rhizomes that are growing directly above the soil, chances are that rhizome has roots attached (that's preferable to cutting an un-rooted rhizome.)
