This was previously growing in the flower bed and I liked the leaves (soft and fuzzy). It grew nicely and produced tiny purple flowers. Now I have collected the seeds but what is it besides the fuzzy plant?

I'm sorry! Those are the bloom spikes. And there is no question it's lambs ear.
