I took this pic at at a trade show in Houston two weeks ago. The flowers are about 8" long and nearly 2" wide.

I'd guess Celosia argentea spicata.

That is Ptilofus exaltatus 'Joey'....a new plant that will be available for 2009 at a garden center/greenhouse near you....that is if they know about it and keep up to date on new plant introductions....

now try typing the right hand letters with your left hand -( lysdexia is our friend! er, dyslexia) Makes for some interesting reading when I get tired.
