A great selection of unusual Ginkgoes and unusual dwarf conifers are carried later in the season - so you need to check their nursery stock often.

Some plants can be a bit on the high side, price-wise, but this nursery carries plants not available anywhere else. Some of the nursery stock is purchased from growers that are a little generous with their zone recommendations on the plant tags i.e. Chamaecyparis obtusa being a zone 4 plant (it's not), so you need to watch this. This is not Tangletown's fault, but the growers fault and, as always, buyer beware. Know your plants before you purchase them.

New plants arrive daily. 3,400+ different perennials are carried throughout the season.

Very reasonable delivery charge for large plants.

Highly recommended.

This is a place, although very tiny, that causes gardeners to drool. Great hosta collection, and they will do special orders. Also, wonderful collection of tropicals in the spring that are unusual here in the frozen north. The owners are usually present, and give excellent advice. Highly recommended.

I have recommended this store to many people. The prices are a bit on the high side. The quality is excellent and so is the variety. I am a lover of succulents and they have an excellent choice. I have never gotten a plant there that I wish I hadn't purchased. I go there often it is a fun place to go and there is always something I want. They have a nice variety of indoor plants and garden supplies as well.
