Great selection, good customer service and advice. I do think alot of their plants are overpriced. If you can, definitely stop by.

If I could only choose one nursery to shop at, this is the one. I think Annie's is the best! I especially love the 4 inch pot size she offers. The plants are big and healthy and I don't have to dig a huge hole to squeeze the plant in like I do with the gallon size that most places offer. Great prices too! If you have never been, try to go.

Agree with all the previous reviews. Their website is also very helpful with Annie's often whimsical and tempting descriptions, making your wish list often larger than intended. Speaking of wish list, you can set up your wish list online and when a plant becomes available, you receive an email notification. Even with wish list in hand, it's too hard not to find more than what you originally came for.
Also note that they are phasing out the selling to other nurseries as their online and in house shopping has become so successful.

Leave plenty of time in your schedule to see everything at Annie's growing grounds in Richmond. Lots of unusual selections, most in 4" pots, excellent pricing, a couple of yearly sales. Ample parking.

Couldn't agree more with ecrane's assessment! Annie's is one of those nurseries that you could spend all day at and still not see everything. WELL worth the visit, but if you cant make it, it's good to know that they supply many bay area nurseries (I even found their plants as far south as Monterey) with their incredible selection!

Annie's is another one on my top favorites list...I'm into unusual plants (if it's growing in my neighbor's yard I probably don't want it!) and Annie's is the perfect place for people who are nuts over rare/less common plants. I also like that almost everything is in 4" pots (even the trees and shrubs) so I can shop away without going broke (as long as I stick to my limit of no more than one wagonload of plants per visit!) Prices if you go there in person are much better than what they list on their website for mail order, so if you live in the area I definitely recommend making the trip!
