San Gabriel Nursery is one of the best nurseries in Los Angeles. It is very big, very well stocked, and has a remarkable variety of plants for both inside and outside. It also carries cactus and succulents, and water garden plants. There is a big greenhouse as well. It has a great selection of Mexican pottery at sensational prices, as well as many other kinds of pots. The gift shop has wonderful artificial flowers, gifts for many occasions, contains a fabulous florist shop, and sells lots of seeds and bonsai equipment and pots. Outside there is an enormous stock of bonsai plants! The staff is helpful and knows the answers to any questions. The prices have gone up in the last few years, but they are still reasonable! I could live there!
