While initially surreal, I found the Valley Nursery to be a quaint and homey experience. They are not technical. All the signs are hand-written and it is a bit cluttered. But they grow all of their own trees, shrubs, etc... and the level of expertise is incredible. You will not find a better quality product or better prices in Helena.
