Extensive native gardens and walking trails including 1500 native plant species and cultivars many endangered. Usually a special exhibit is held in the garden each year. In spring time near Mother's Day see many native spring flowers and flowering trees and shurbs in bloom like native azaleas and rhododendrens. In summer see the interesting wildflowers, ferns, pitcher plants, hardy cactus, rock garden plants, etc. In fall it is a great time to see the fall foliage colors around the lily pond. Something different spring, summer and fall. They have a large plant sale each year in June of hard to get native plants, shrubs and trees. Also you can shop for plants seasonally in their onsite gift shop. They also sponsor a seed sale (by mail) in the winter months. Also you can take courses on native plants and they frequently have lectures on site. Gardens owned and maintained by the New England Wildflower Society.

A beautiful walk in the woods, not even counting the flowers, and then those are beautiful too. And sometimes there's interesting sculptures and such mixed in. They have a very nice gift shop with plant related pottery and all sorts of things, and native plants for sale too. A great place to visit!
