By far the best garden center in Northwest CT. There are mulched pathways that meander though the numerous varieties of shrubs, trees and perennials not the commonly seen "Big Box Store" rows. I've never seen such a selection of large sized trees and shrubs, and the decorative ironware is amazing. Fountains and waterfalls seem to be everywhere and the staff doesn't consist of "just a summer job teenagers", they have real gardeners and horticulturalists that know their plants and can answer your questions. It's the kind of place that after you've left you realize you feel better just for having gone. This is the one place that is a must visit for me every year.
