I visited the Daniel Stowe botanical gardens, Belmont, SC, last weekend and it had so many blooming flowers and plants. Why can't the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia look like that. The Stowe gardens charged admission, but it was incredible what they had. Our gardens looks downright sad and homely when compared to other gardens and that's a shame because ours is a state garden and should be a showplace. Ours is reprsentative of our state...and it could be so much better. There's room to have so much more in the way of flowers and unusual plants. It's sad that we don't have a showplace for our botanical garden.
