As the Garden's administrator, I encourage visits to this historic 100 acre garden. We have been a tourist attraction since 1936. Forested woodlands surround landscaped and cultivated areas. Gardens are tended by volunteers, included six nationality themed gardens. Relics from the past await discovery. Lake Lucerne, a small spring fed lake, is home to muskrats, herons, geese and turtles. Deer, raccoon, foxes, squirrels, coyotes and wild turkeys emerge from our woods. The songs of birds are readily heard in this quiet valley ,bisected by beautiful Trail Creek. Pets on leash welcome. Self guiding garden tours and nature trails delight and inform visitors. Golf cart tours for the handicapped available by appointment. Come, stroll, relax, re-create!
