The UC Davis Arboretum offers a wide variety of gardens for visitors to enjoy. The Redwood Grove, Mary Wattis Brown Native California Plant Collection, and the Storer garden are among my favorite collections. Perennial displays of color and variety are a year round pleasure. The collections stretch along the historic waterway of Putah Creek. A main path keeps the Arboretum loop winding through all the gardens; connecting the campus to the downtown. The Friends of the Arboretum have a wide membership. Plant sales occur every year and offer an opportunity for people to buy plants for their homes.
