Exotic Gardens - [HYPERLINK@www.exoticgardens.biz] - is a great cactus and succulent nursery in University Hts in San Diego, (2212 El Cajon Blvd, corner of Mississippi St). Parking is easy! Very good prices, huge selection, totally local business, the owner is a very nice guy. They have anything between tiny sedums and huge aloes. Also some ferns and bromeliads. Lots of his plants are from abandoned gardens, discarded stuff, and he nurses them back to life. I love to go behind his main display area and look at the tiny plastic pots filled with leaflets, stems cuttings, all neatly arranged in rows. I'm sure he loves his plants and so do I.

An added bonus is a Russian restaurant nearby, called Pomegranat. Check it out, excellent!
